Preconception Care

The healthiest pregnancy often begins before conception — a preconception consultation is an opportunity to optimise your health, plan for any known risks, and step into pregnancy with confidence.

Before Many pregnancy risks can be identified and addressed before conception
Tailored Every consultation is individualised to your history and goals
Proactive Anticipating issues early leads to better outcomes

Preconception care involves a comprehensive review of your health, lifestyle and medical history before you become pregnant. It is particularly valuable for women with existing medical conditions, previous pregnancy complications, advanced maternal age or fertility concerns — but is worth considering for anyone planning a pregnancy.

Preconception consultations with Dr Krones are unhurried and thoroughly individualised. The aim is to anticipate — not just react to — the issues that matter most for your pregnancy, and to provide the information you need to plan with confidence.

Where additional specialist input is helpful — for example from an endocrinologist, cardiologist or geneticist — referrals can be coordinated as part of your care plan before pregnancy begins.
